Business Forum & Patrons' Club

Weaver Vale Conservative Business Forum was established with the aim of creating a Forum for Business people to meet and discuss important Economic and Political issues.
The Forum is run as a business dinner, with a prominent speaker talking on a business topic, with the opportunity for Questions & Answers from the floor and there is no fundraising on the night - so it’s safe to bring clients!
The Inagural Dinner of the Business Forum was held on Friday 28 October 2005 with Ruth Lea speaking on "Britain's Economic Prospects". The second Dinner had Sir Robert Atkins MEP speaking on "Do the Tories have a future in Europe?" Our third Dinner was with Mark Nicholson of The Bow Group speaking on "Tax & Pensions".
Weaver Vale Patrons' Club was originally established in 2006 and re-established in 2009, for the purpose of joining like-minded individuals who wished to support the Conservative Party and attend dinners with Political Speakers. Past speakers at events have included David Cameron, Sir John Major and William Hague.
