Conservative Party Leader David Cameron invited residents in Northwich and Weaver Vale to quiz him face to face at his Cameron Direct event on Thursday 20th August.
The event took place at Kingsmead School, off Dukes Way, Kingsmead, Northwich, CW9 8WA starting at 5pm on Thursday 20th August 2009.
Tickets for the event were free and open to all local residents, but needed to be obtained in advance.
Graham Evans, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Weaver Vale (shown above with David Cameron), said before the event: Were really pleased David Cameron is coming to Northwich. Its a great opportunity for everyone of any political persuasion to come along and raise their issues, questions and concerns with him.
He added: Across the country, there are obviously real concerns over issues such as the cost of living, including the pressure on homeowners and the pressure on shops and businesses, and all these issues can be raised. But it is the members of the public who set the agenda for the evening whatever the question, issue or concern, it will be answered.
Due to an unprecedented level of applicants, unfortunately the Cameron Direct event on Thursday 20 August was fully booked in advance and if you missed out dont worry because you can still get involved:
If youd like to ask David Cameron a question, simply email the dedicated address camerondirect@conservative.com and David will reply soon.
