BNP Racist Campaign is Nonsense

The values and views of the BNP are abhorrent.  They thrive on hatred and division in our communities and present entirely the wrong proposals for Britain today.

All mainstream parties have an obligation to address the voter alienation and disillusionment that fuels support for extremism. We do not want extremist parties to become prominent in British politics.

Conservatives are urging voters to use the forthcoming elections as a referendum on Gordon Brown’s performance as Prime Minister.  People should take the opportunity to tell Labour: enough is enough.  Every vote for the Conservative Party on the 4th June would hasten the removal of Mr Brown’s weak, useless and spineless government.  This is the last chance, until the general election to tell Gordon Brown exactly what you think of him and his tired, incompetent and failing Government.  Only a vote for the Conservatives can send an unequivocal message of change to Gordon Brown.

Weaver Vale’s  Conservative Prospective MP  Graham Evans said, “I am very concerned by the feed back I am receiving on the doorstep and in the racist literature that the BNP has put out in certain areas of Weaver Vale. In their leaflets they have used actors instead of real people, they refer to “ Muslim Turks”  on one line then celebrate St George on the other line failing to see the irony that St George was Turkish!”

“They refer to the “Battle of Britain” showing a photograph of a Spitfire from the famous Polish Squadron. 141 Polish pilots fought in the Battle of Britain, 29 of whom were killed defending our country against  Nazis Germany. Indeed more Polish pilots flew and died with the RAF than any other non British nationality, and the Poles also fought with Britain’s armed forces  in North Africa, Italy, France and Germany famously fighting for the cause of freedom in the battles of Cassino and Arnhem”.

“Weaver Vale has had a long standing Polish Community dating back to the second world war and it pains me greatly to see the likes of the BNP targeting such communities, I encourage voters to vote for conservatives or any party other than the BNP in the Euro Election”.
