Sir Robert Atkins MEP speaks at Business Forum
Sir Robert Atkins MEP, spoke at the Weaver Vale Conservative Business Forum on Friday 19 May 2006 at the Catton Hall Shooting Lodge in Frodsham.
The Forum comprises a business dinner with a prominent speaker on a business topic, with the opportunity for questions and answers from the floor and there is no fundraising on the night.
40 attendees came from a wide range of business sectors including manufacturing, engineering, haulage, construction, farming, surveying, legal and financial. There was also a good range of age and experience from those starting out in business to those who had retired and from a cross section of political opinions.
Sir Robert Atkins is an MEP for the North West of England, was an MP from 1979 1997 and held a number of Ministerial Posts including those within the DTI, Transport, Environment and Education and spoke on: "Do the Tories have a future in Europe?"
