Remembrance Sunday 11th November 2007

Weaver Vale has two main Remembrance Sunday ceremonies held in Halton and Northwich town centres to coincide with numerous other ceremonies across the constituency and nationwide.
This year the Royal British Legion worked hard to raise much needed funds and to arrange the extremely moving ceremonies where the whole community turn out to remember our nations war dead.
Graham Evans, Weaver Vales Prospective MP said it is a great honour to participate in these ceremonies, where this year I laid a wreath on behalf of Weaver Vale Conservative Association. It is always a humbling experience to attend and pay my respects to those who have served and died for our country. I have been lucky enough not to have gone to war, however my grandparents fought in the First and Second World Wars and I always think of them at this time.
