Weaver Vale is a County Constituency in Cheshire and comprises urban areas of Northwich and eastern Runcorn, together with the rural areas inbetween including Frodsham, Helsby, Kingsley and Weaverham (see map above). Weaver Vale contains parts of both Halton and Vale Royal Borough Councils.
The constituency was created in 1997 from parts of Eddisbury, Halton, Tatton and Warrington South and has been held by Labour since then, however their majority has continued to fall, almost halving from then to 6,855 in 2005. Boundary changes may help further reduce this majority before the next General Election however hard work and your support will be required to return a Conservative MP.
