Principally, law and order, protection of the Green Belt and the local environment, safeguarding and sustaining rural communities and supporting the local industrial base.

The Weaver Vale Constituency in Cheshire comprises parts of Northwich and Runcorn, together with Frodsham and Helsby and the rural areas inbetween and the Weaver Valley.
